let's talk hope
Aug. 28th, 2009 01:15 amI don't know how many of you pay attention to my mad American Idol inspired ramblings. I know pretty much all of you are not involved in the fandom side of things for it at least.
However I want to bring your attention to something very important. A few weeks ago, Adam Lambert sent out a call for his fans. A call to not spend money on presents for him (like inflatable kangaroos, idk) and to instead give it to children. Children who without help would probably never be able to play a musical instrument. Children who need gluesticks and colored pencils to draw.
Through DonorsChoose, a charity effort has been set up in his name. A contest of sorts between fangroups, but a contest that only helps those in need. :)
