a less than stellar start
Feb. 8th, 2012 08:59 amoh my god help.
I am sitting in my bedroom and there is an animal running circles in the walls around the room. I tried to find the squirrel posts from my previous apartment, but I have not been able to locate them. My room is on the second level of this house, in the back. There is a closet at the top of the stairs to get up here and I'm not sure if the animal was actually IN the closet, but just to be sure, I will have to pull everything out tonight and buy some storage boxes tomorrow for everything that I keep in there.
As of right now, I am assuming it's a squirrel. It sounds about the right size (with the scrabbly claws oh god). I don't think there is any opening in the walls of the closet, so I am probably ok, but I'd rather KNOW that my stuff is not animal-infested.
D: There is nothing worse than waking up to the sound of scratchy animal claws in the wall next to your head, let me tell you. /sob.
edit: A quick peek into the closet leads me to believe it was not in there. There are enough plastic bags and papery things scattered in there that I think I would have heard it. Regardless, I will be buying more large plastic boxes.
