GRIDLOCK NYE IN LA
Jan. 4th, 2010 01:55 amLet me tell you the story about how I went to Los Angeles for 48 hours even though I live in New England, which makes this entire trip absurd to the max.
So I left CT at around 11am from Bradley International. From there I stayed in DC for a few hours and then went on my merry way to LAX. I was in the back of the plane by the window so I got to see the amazing sight of the lights of LA as we flew in. There is something so... idk... I love seeing cities all spread out and glowing like that. Got of the plane and was hit by California air. <3 It made me realize that, yes, I really do miss California. A lot.
Then I got on a taxi.. with a very rude taxi driver. Who took me to the wrong hotel. And then gave me part of my change back in the form of pennies. I did not like him very much. Oh yes, and the wrong hotel.... I ended up walking like 2 blocks to get to my real hotel cuz of him. *frowny face* And then I had an hour and a half to get ready for the ~PARTY!!!!! I should probably note here that I looked absolutely fabulous, except then I didn't take any pics of myself.
Ok, the rest is going behind a cut.
