omg. shoes.

Ling Lam shoes are finally in my possession. Not until after a terrible post office experience though. Of course. I went to go get them at the Bishop's Corner branch after work today because I'm stupid and didn't read the little door slip. Turns out I was supposed to go to the Center. So I got to turn right back around to go get it at the other post office, which thankfully closes at 6 and not 5. But since it closes late... everyone was there. And omg people! There were 2 clerks.. and after about 10 minutes of waiting, this one guy gets his turn. And he has 2 duffel bags FULL of boxes. And each one has a different slip and stuff. So that tied up half the help. Then at the other desk, there was a couple attempting to report some sort of scam, but they weren't making much sense. And there was a manager called. And ugh.

Anyway, shoes. They are PERFECT. They're slightly loose, but that is easily fized by putting a soft squish thing at the heel so they don't move around. They're surprisingly comfortable as well. I need to remove the bows so that I can use them for the Chidori cosplay, but this also means I will be able to wear my IW jsk to Anime Boston as well. I'm currently moving the strap buttons so that it falls a little longer on me.

Yup. Lots of sewing is my life at the moment. I feel like baking now for some reason. But there's no one else here to eat said baking.. so there's no point.
