Well, I hadn't anticipated my last entry getting quite the response it ended up having. I think the only conclusion I can come up with is: life isn't logical. trying to figure it out using logic has little purpose. Just go with it and things will work out in the end.

Today was my last day of work for the summer. It was rather anticlimactic. Mostly because no one else was really around so I just cryopreserved some cells, fed the oysters and went back home. I suppose it could have been a lot worse. Now I just need to crunch numbers till the semester starts. Then I can talk to Sylvain about what's left for me to do before I start writing! YAY! Which reminds me that I still need that permission number....

Currently I have the contents of 2 boxes strewn across my room. Why? Well... I hadnt exactly ever unpacked everything when I came home for the summer. So now I'm going through these 2 boxes and realizing that I'm not emptying all that much out of them. And I have no clue where everything is going to do... I've done this 3 times already, shouldn't it be getting easier. Conclusion: I have too much STUFF.

Anyway, back to organizing that....

I've just remembered that I'd had a weird dream last night that I had wanted to record.

I was on a train going somewhere with my family and Jacob. We all had bags and such. We stopped at one stop and we had a bit of time to wander, so I got off the train to go to the restroom. But it was weird, because I didnt find a restroom. Instead I found a weird series of rooms. First we were seated in something like a teacup at the amusement park and we were spun around. And then once we spun a bit, we had to get off and walk through a room where small streams of water were falling from the ceiling. But for some reason, the exit was in a weird place and I couldn't find the train station. I was in a city, all the streets were really narrow and there was a bridge in the distance. I knew I needed to get back to the train, but I couldn't find it. My phone wasn't working and there was no one around. I wandered around, getting increasingly desperate. And suddenly I looked at the bridge and saw my train going away. I remember panicking, and then finally finding my family who had gotten off the train when I hadnt come back.

This is the second time I've had a dream where I was on a train, had gotten off, and it went away without me. Both times the train was going over a bridge. Both times all I could do was helplessly watch and panic. I can think of quitw a few interpretations for that, but I'll keep them to myself.
