humidity is teh suck

Ozzfest last Sunday was so amazingly awesome I can't put it into words. It was hot, humid, and there were waaaaay too many people, but that didnt matter at the time... much... I cant say much about the second stage since I dont really listen to any of those bands, but I did get to watch people moshing which was.. strange. I also got massive sunburn on my face, neck and shoulders since I was stupid and forgot to put on sunscreen. First stage was awesome though. Dragonforce amused me with their bouncing keyboardist. Lacuna Coil was awesome and I wish they'd played longer. And then I just kinda waited for Disturbed and SoaD. and omg... <3 is all.
Monday was a "fun" 12 hr train ride down here to Williamsburg. Complete with a very sore set of shoulders, scratchy throat and lack of sleep. I was very dead by the end.
But the vacation has been nice so far. Tuesday we went to the cementary in the morning. It was... sobering to say the least. There are things that you dont actively think about about that become so much more real when you're standing at a gravestone looking at an engraved name. *sigh*
Then we went to the beach and saw dolphins and wild horses. It was fun although way too hot for sitting out in the sun for long. Yesterday we went to Busch Gardens for the day. Was fun, but again very hot and humid. Then today we went to Richmond and went to the Museum of Confederacy. Yeah...
My cousin arrives from New York tomorrow in the afternoon so it's going to be a chill day at least. Then Saturday morning I leave for CT again and it's back to work.
I'm hungry....
