My dad says things sometimes that make me want to facepalm. Then I do. At least sometimes it makes for amusing livejournal subject lines?

I worked today from 9am to 4:30pm. It was... not happyfuntimes. Go figure right? I have the day off tomorrow though (technically today.. oops). I'm going to use it for cosplay and making meatlof/baking.

On a very similar note WHY IS ANIME BOSTON ONLY 2 WEEKS AWAY?! More like a week and half. @_@;; The sewing frenzy is well underway but I'm going to just slowly freak out more and more until we get there. Tomorrow is also "brush out wig and drench in hairspray so I can make the mods to it". Also making my Chidori wig a bit neater as it's been in storage for a while now. =S

I also have a PRIORITY ONE for Connecticon. Making Yui's outfit from the ending of K-on. RayRay is making Mio's and maybe we can con a couple more people to finish the group. xD Either way, I am psyched. Already know where to get the stockings, so after AB I need to find a wig and some patterns. YAY! I am excited.

On a related note, watched ep 6 of K-on! tonight. Yes, it was awesome. Yes, it is full of fluffy moe. But y'know what.. with FMA being my other current series.. I need something fluffy and cute.

I need to DL Sayonara Zetsubou-sensei. I bought volume 1 of the manga and it was.. interesting. The art style is really cool though (all black and white with no shading, etc) so I want to see how it worked in the anime.

OH OH OH! Supernatural is torrenting fine now. I grabbed a link that consisted of mostly seeds from a private tracker.. so it was going soooo slowwww. But I fixed that now, so hopefully it will be done soon. But I'm not allowed to sit and watch it forever until after the convention!

Anime North is in two weeks and I'm freaking out despite not even cosplaying or anything. It just came so fast! I got nothing prepared, not even a budget. AAAAAAAH. Good luck with your preparations, though!

Sayonara Zetsubou-sensei anime (I haven't read the manga) is very interesting. It is complete and utter crack, and makes me laugh to tears in WTFFFF XD way every time I rewartch the 6 or so episode I downloaded this Christmas. They worked the art into very static cut-out type of thing, with strange opening and ending sequences that randomly change every now and then, and there is tons of things written on walls that differs from what being narated, so trying to read all the subtitles and listen and watch at once was hard for me, but contributed to the "I HAVE NO IDEA WHATS GOING ON, LOL" happy feeling.

I'm still orn over whether downloading SPN or not. For now, I'm just reading some fics recced here and there after reading the wiki, and will see if watching the canon is a must to understand them.

Ahh I'm so glad that you liked the anime! Now I am even more persuaded to watch it myself. The manga definitely had this sense of "omg what is going on.. I am so confused" that I love.

I.. am slightly afraid of the SPN fandom although I suspect most of that is a result of reading fandom secrets everyday. I feel like I would get lost trying to read anything without having seen at least one season of it.

Ugh, Anime Boston sooo soon! I'm ready for it, I have to brush out my Micaiah mask and find the gloves, but Chris hasn't even started yet T_T I don't think he'll be done for next weekend, but he might realize it soon and get crackin on it... who knows??

Any idea of where we're all gonna meet?

Ahhh I'm in cosplay panic mode. I hope Chris gets on it soon too. It's still possible!!

No idea on meetings and such. I still dunno what we're gonna do about carpooling. =X At any rate we all have each other's phone numbers.

The original plan was to room with Justin, who was (at the time) rooming with you and Max, so we said we'd room with you guys, and then shit hit the fan and Justin's not in the room and we'd feel like total jerks if we said "Sorry Justin, we said we'd room with you, but we're not going to any more", so we switched to rooming with him instead. I would have been fine in either room, but Chris and Justin are best friends and Chris would have felt really bad about not rooming with him.

There's no way Chris is going to be done. He's going to try to have it done for ConnectiCon (if we go), but I know that there are a lot of other people going to ConnectiCon as Fire Emblem characters, so we'll have a huge group, it'll be epic!
