Got my work schedule when I went to fill out paperwork yesterday. I think I might die. First day of actual training/working is a night shift (Monday.. so not as busy.. but also with Spring Break having started... =X). And then I also ended up with Friday night later in the week. And of course all the night shifts are followed by a morning shift the next day. Go figure. If I focus on it too hard I start getting nervous so I'm just going to push through and hope for the best. They hired me for a reason right?
Sadly I also go scheduled for Sunday afternoon.. which means I won't be able to go to the lolita meetup at all. T_T I was hoping they wouldn't, but then they did.. and I can't very well decline when I haven't even really worked there yet!! Hopefully with the way they do schedule requests... things like that will be avoided in the future. *looks sadly at lolita clothing* I wanna dress up and hang out with cool peopleee.... *woe*
Have determined that every other moment I can get, I WILL work on my cosplay. Have the pieces cut out for a shirt I want to make... need to find good substitute for Nia's hoodie.. need to cut pattern and fabric for other coat. Am also thinking a lot about how to fix up my Chidori costume which I will have done for AB. Also looking at wigs again for the next thing I wanna make. Also I looked at the stupid Pokemon gijinka files and now I have a list of like 10 Pokemon that have awesome designs... including one that would let me play with craft form armor construction. I want to get my prop-making up to par. Need to make axe and ankle cuffs for Chidori. Am considering making semi-circles with the spikes and embedding magnets into the edges so that I can re-use them.. but am unsure of the effectiveness of it. Ah planning.. how I love thee.
Also... Phil the DVDs arrived and omg thank you so much. Hopefully you see this. xD We need to hangout sometime so I can pay you for it. *plays happily with light-up core drill*

I'm also glad that the DVDs arrived successfully, I was glad someone else was able to take advantage of BestBuy's largesse. I'm sure we'll have an opportunity to hang out sometime after I get back from break, but I'm not in financial hardship right now so I don't need to be paid back immediately or anything.
