A little bit of hope?

Mhm. Linda is out from work all this week. So happy fun times? I suppose. I took the day off Friday and did nothing productive all day. Except when I played Shadowrun. Which was at least fun, if not particularly productive in the grand scheme of things. Mall again on Saturday where Justin proceeded to continue spending all his money on Warhammer 40k stuff. He wants to try and teach me how to play, so hopefully that will work and I won't be too dense to figure it out. xD

Not much else I guess. Went down to Clinton on Sunday to get his other WH40k stuff and to wish his brother a happy birthday.

Good news on the grad school front. I had a faculty member say that he would be interested in having me in his lab. Sad part is that it couldn't be until Spring 09, but I'm willing to work with that if it's possible. At any rate, it would be better than doing the application bit next fall (again) and he's doing interesting work. I hope it works out. We had a phone interview of sorts this morning. Basically a "we've been emailing, now let's talk". I was sooo nervous but i guess I made a good enough impression. I need to email the grad coordinator about figuring this stuff out. I'm trying not to bring out the celebration right away though. I don't want to get excited about something if it doesn't work out. Again.

Yup...

Oh yea. Excited about kites and picnic on the 20th. Mental note: Go buy kite at Walmart.
