Uwah.. where is my vacation going? This happens everytime.. and I never learn.
Anyway, it's been a pretty chill week. Minimal issues with the parentals which is always nice. Of course it's been minimal *anything* this week since everyone ever decided that they wanted to go away for the break. So it's kinda sucked without Lena, Heather and Susana around. No one to hang out with = me sitting on my ass doing nothing. Although tomorrow I have happy-fun plans that involve not being home all day. So that'll be nice.
I managed to get my chem work emailed, and I've reached the point in the inactivity where I start being productive out of desperation to be useful. So I've started my biochem lab report. And I'm sure eventually I'll get around to studying for that chem 2-day exam that's going to consume most of next week.
Grad school stuff keeps ever moving and it's making me twitchy. After a long pause in any sort of progress... now it feels like it's moving too fast. I got another email from Dr. Lipcius at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science asking about my research interests. And 24 hours later, got another one asking if I might be able to go visit sometime in the next *two weeks*!! And this is the part where I curse UCONN for having an early spring break. This stuff was supposed to happen during my break!! So now I get to freak out cuz I have a week to plan a trip to Virginia for the 16th to visit my grandmother and see the lab on Monday. This while worrying about my chem exam. And also anxiety over traveling alone for something important like this. I mean.. it's a really good sign that he wants me to visit. But at the same time, it means things are *actually* changing.. which is a thought I've been able to kinda push to the side till now. And of course, on a more selfish note, that weekend is the 2 month. But we're both gonna busy pretty much every weekend till April with the travel and going home (Pops N Jazz the 24th!) so I suppose it's a moot point.
Anyway... too much going on. It makes me dizzy....
