movie night the second
Mar. 27th, 2004 05:16 amWell... I did say that hopefully this night would end earlier. I guess 5 am isn't THAT bad... Anyway, it was just as fun as last week with the added bonus of food. Marianne and I showed up at 9 in the math building. Lena had asked if she could come, so she joined us and we all walked to the SU and Jonathon's to get food. The result? 5 cups of chicken dippers, 2 large fries, 1 large onion rings, 4 slushies, much apple juice and a salad. This also killed off 4 of the meals on my meal plan. I'm very happy with that. I don't go to the dining hall all that often and I need to start finding ways to use lots at once.
Anyway... so the 5 of us walk back to the math building, loaded down with much food. We watched the next 6 episodes of Firefly (to ep. 10) and I only find myself liking it more and more. The crazy girl is so cool too. She had the best line today. Her brother is talking to the dude who betrayed them and being all threatening and stuff. So when the brother leaves, she looks at him and says, "Also, I can kill you with my brain." And it was just the most perfect thing EVER. It's now a saved away message for AIM. Fun stuff. We then watched 2 episodes of The X Files. The first 'The Enigma' which was very odd and had many scenes with dim spaces and funny noises. Judging by the fact that I was curled up on the couch during the episode, scary isn't my thing. The was followed by the very funny episode that featured the funny writer dude the was in an episode of Millenium that we watched last week. It was something Chung... Anyway... twas fun as usual.
And now to bed. I need to be up at 11 so I have time to pack before going home. Oh look.... it's starting to get light outside.... I'm going to be so dead-tired tomorrow... (note: it's 5:30 am...)
