YEAH UCONN!!!!! Oh my god... the chaos....
Yeah, so UCONN beat Duke tonight in the final four game. That only means one thing on the UCONN campus.... mass chaos, mobs and rioting. All I can really say is, wow. It's one thing to read it in the newspaper and see it on the news. It's entirely another to look our your window and see it.
The second the game ended, instant noise. People started to flood out of the dorms and into the quad. By the time I finally decided to go outside with Marianne, there was a good sized crowd out there, chanting and screaming. The whole group then moved out and started going down the street. People were yelling at cars and standing in the street. It was so nuts.
We decided to go inside before anything serious started happening. I think I'm glad I did. There were cops all over the place, even before the game ended (they're used to the UCONN riots), but after I went in I started to hear sirens and some loud noises. Eeeep.... That's all I have to say about that. And this isn't even the final. That's on Monday. I think I may have to go into hiding....
