British Comedy and Strictly Ballroom
heheh... I love movie night so much. Tonight we watched all 6 episodes of Black Adder 2, a british show. Oh my god... so very funny!! It was just so random. This was followed by the movie, Strictly Ballroom. I actually really liked this movie. The dancing was just so amazingly cool. I wish I could dance like that. The whole partner dancing with steps and stuff seems really fun. I think I need to drag someone with me to the ballroom dancing club next semester...
Phil visited today. I had to spend the day with him since I was the only one without class... I'm not sure he had fun. My fridays are normally spent in my room trying to work and going on my computer. We ended up watching 4 episodes of Trigun and just talking for most of the afternoon. Then we went to Lena's and watched Along Came Polly. It was cute. Fave Line: "I'm on the no-plan plan." This was followed directly by movie night... too many movies today... I was feeling a bit of an impending headache while watching Strictly Ballroom. I think it's time for bed now.

Just as a note, the ballroom dance club at uconn is 7pm on mondays in the aacc (african american cultural club) this year in case you want to go take a look. No idea where it is going to be next year since construction might actually finish by then.

If not, I'll be checking out the club next semester; I tried it freshman year, but lost track of how to join. Next semester I'm definitely looking into it. I love dancing, I just suck at it.

Queenie: [to the camera] I've got such a crush on him.
Flash: Hey Melchie! Still worshipping God? Last thing I heard He started worshipping ME... Ah Nursie, I like it firm and fruity. Am I pleased to see you or did I just put a canoe in my pocket? Down boy, down. And now... where is this amazing bird? The one who stopped my old pall Eddie doing exactly whatever he wants, ten times a night.
Edmund: Ah yes Flash, let me introduce my... my fiancee Kate.
Flash: Hi, baby! [Flash kisses the bride]
Flash: She's got a tongue like an electric eel and she likes the taste of a man's tonsils. You don't want to marry this jerk baby! Meet me on my horse in eight seconds.
Kate: But I can't run in this frock. You see, I found I actually preferred wearing boys clothes.
Flash: Weird. I always feel more comfy in a dress. I've got a plan---and it's as hot as my pants!
Edmund: What a man Flash is, eh? Things will certainly liven around here, now he's back. Flash. Flash??
[Flash in dress and Kate in boys clothes are about to depart]
Flash: So long, suckers! Next time you get bored with your lives just give me a call and I'll come round and kill you.
Kate: Bye Edmund and thanks for everything. Hurrah!
[Flash leaves in the same style as he arrived]
