Coming to you LIVE from.... *blink* West Hartford?

Meh... I am babysitting. Now that the little people have FINALLY gone to bed, I have time to just be online and... do stuff? I dunno. I should probably be reading the book that I brought with me... but I can't be bothered right now.

I'm amused by the fact that it took me only the ride home (40 min) to get annoyed with my mother. It was going well until we totally missed the exit and ended up in North Hartford. So, first she was pissed that we missed the exit and that I didn't tell her that we had missed it. Then it suddenly became my job to get us un-lost and home in the fastest time possible. Me... who hardly ever goes to Hartford... Not fun. And of course, by this time my mom is fuming because it's nearly 3:20 and she has a doctor's appointment at 3:45 and we are still lost in Hartford. So I finally get us un-lost by discovering a way to get home. BUT, I got nagged the whole way with things like, "we could have turned there" and "aren't we supposed to go that way?" I'm just like, I never come here. I'm just looking at the map. *rolls eyes* By the time we got out of there, we weren't talking anymore. It was dumb. Oh yes it was.

But I suppose, I'm here now. And I did promise to try and make the most of it. All I can do is try. Catch y'all on Sunday!

over and out...

EDIT: w00t!! 200 page views on my devArt site!!! *dances*

I missed you.
I got some envelopes and stamps tho. Only two stamps b/c the machine would not take my dollars. =\ I'll get more later.
I thought I would be back in time to talk to you. *is just remembering the time difference again* I should have just stayed home....
I hate it when ppl expect you to drive for them when they are behind the wheel. My grandpa does that all the time. >_< That's why I try to drive for him when I go places with him. The only trouble with that is he watches my driving closer than he watches his own.Worse is he blames it on the car when he has to jerk it back in the lane because he's drifting. "The alignment's off" no it's not....
and curbs don't jump out in front of you. Although I swear that median wasn't there that one time whan I was pulling out of Whataburger. =P
Well I'll talk to you Sunday night then. Have fun 'til then and I'll be missing you. *hug* Buh bye.
*wanders away to write a letter*

ACK!!! envelopes.... i KNEW i was forgetting something when I left today.... grr... It's ok that we didn't get to talk on Friday, I was only on for a bit. The stupid kids kept wanting more stories. By the time I got on, it was later than anicipated and their parents got home soon after. *sighs*

i loathe having to get us un-lost, especially when my mother is driving. She acts like I'm leading us the wrong direction, even though i'm the one with the map. -_-; sheesh... anyway, ttyl
