Nerrrrr.......

sigh... I'm going home this weekend. It's probably just as well since I have 2 papers to write and 2 tests to study for. Oh and all these are for different subjects too!! Fun in a box that is. Today was... weird. I was kinda droopy all day. I chalk it up to being excessively happy yesterday and using up too much energy. But it was worth every moment. Plus, I could feel it coming back after dinner. So yes... still happy.

I'm still not overly enthusiastic about going home. I just know my sister is gonna bug me about watching anime with her when I should be working. And my mother is gonna probably ba annoying as usual. I wish I could just lock myself in my room and ignore everything. But I can't. Hopefully though, I'll be able to get to the mall. There are like 4 manga I want to buy and I want to buy a mic for my computer so I can give Marianne hers back. We'll see. I have to babysit. Friday night and I will be sitting. Not that I do anything on Friday nights anyway. On the plus side, this means that I will be able to get online and talk to people for a little bit after the kids have gone to sleep. (yay!!)

I'm also a bit upset about my spring break. Not only is it an internet-less week with my family, but none of my friends from other schools will even be home. Also, my mother is going to be gone all week for a trip and my dad will be working. This means that I have to play mother for my bro and sis. In other words, making dinner, making them do homework, being responsible, etc. Damnit!! This is spring break. Why??? I plan to go to the library often. And maybe other places since presumably I'll have use of the car for the week for in-town stuff. Main Library here I come!!! heh heh... Anyway... it just upsets me. And there is just no way I convince my parents to get internet at home so soon. I'll try and bring it up though. They DID promise a while ago...

And now I leave you with something I found on the journal of [livejournal.com profile] bakayaro_onna during a random LJ wandering... I found it to be VERY funny. Eh... just my opinion...

Math Teacher Arrested at Airport

At New York's Kennedy airport today, an individual later discovered to be a public school math teacher was arrested trying to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a setsquare, a slide rule, and a calculator.

At a morning press conference, Attorney general John Ashcroft said he believes the man is a member of the notorious al-gebra movement. He is being charged by the FBI with carrying weapons of math instruction.

"Al-gebra is a fearsome cult,", Ashcroft said. "They desire average solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in a search of absolute value. They use secret code names like "x" and "y" and refer to themselves as "unknowns", but we have determined they belong to a common denominator of the axis of medieval with coordinates in every country.

"As the Greek philanderer Isosceles used to say, there are 3 sides to every triangle," Ashcroft declared.

When asked to comment on the arrest, President Bush said, "If God had wanted us to have better weapons of math instruction, He would have given us more fingers and toes. "I am gratified that our government has given us a sine that it is intent on protracting us from these math-dogs who are willing to disintegrate us with calculus disregard. Murky statisticians love to inflict plane on every sphere of influence," the President said, adding: "Under the circumferences, we must differentiate their root, make our point, and draw the line."

President Bush warned, "These weapons of math instruction have the potential to decimal everything in their math on a scalene never before seen unless we become exponents of a Higher Power and begin to factor-in random facts of vertex."

Attorney General Ashcroft said, "As our Great Leader would say, read my ellipse. Here is one principle he is uncertainty of: though they continue to multiply, their days are numbered as the hypotenuse tightens around their necks."

heh heh...

Time for bed.
