Why am I so utterly bored?

Well, finally the weekend. Thank God. Unfortunately, now that it's here, I'm just bored and purpose-less. I could be doing work, but.... yeah, no. Today was actually a surprisingly productive day for me, which is exactly what I needed because I've been in a sort-of slump lately. I had to go at 11:30 to the psych building to take a survey for my experiment credits for the class. It was nice to just get out for a bit too because it was actually a nice day. Then, I did a bunch of Japanese work, which made me feel good because I was starting to understand more. Then, weekly lunch with Susana and Lena which was fun as always. Then it was off to meet with my Japanese teacher to make up for the 2 classes I skipped on Wednesday because I was feeling sick. (happy on the 100% I got on the kanji quiz!!) And then a lovely few hours talking over AIM chat.

Yes, nice day... But now I am bored. I was screwing around on Photoshop, trying to color a sketch of mine, but I gave up for now because I was getting fed up with the fact that I really don't have a secure handle on the program yet. I got the base colors down, but I need to do shading which I sux muchly at. -_- I suppose I'll go play some Neopets or something. Anything to keep me from having to resort to doing work on a Friday night.

OH!! Funny story about why my roommate is not so intelligent. She nearly set my microwave on fire this morning. She was heating up a burger or something, but she left it in the tin foil stuff that it had been wrapped in. This tin foil was the kind that has the metal-y part on the outside and the paper-y part on the inside. So, the foil sparked, thus setting the paper on fire. Fortunately, we were able to open the microwave fast enough that nothing bad happened. (except the smell >.<) I was so scared that we were going to set off the fire alarm. On the plus side, it gave me something to tease her with. She went home for the weekend, so I'm all alone.... sigh.... my life is so boring.

it's okay. I sat home on a friday night and read all the stories in "Welcome To The Monkey House" by Kurt Vonnegut. nice way to spend a night, eh? that microwave story is funny (makes a mental note NEVER to do that...) hope saturday night is less boring for you.

Eh.... not that bad a way to spend the evening. I have been on the computer all evening because I can't be bothered to turn on the TV and I didn't feel like reading....

And yes. Tin foil and microwaves do not mix...

WTF?
