Goodness it has been a busy couple days. Friday is a bit of a haze to me, honestly. I got home from Frankenstein after 10pm and had to do all this prep-work for the lab exam. This resulted in a 2am bedtime followed by a prompt 5am (ok 5:30am) wake-up time. Stumbling up to the lab building before 7am is not my favorite thing in the world. It did however result in the fastest lab exam set-up I have ever orchestrated. Gave my 8am exam, led the lab. Tried to be coherent. The usual. Then I sat in the student center and tried not to pass out on my laptop for a few hours. It was difficult, to say the least. Then I gave my 2:50pm exam to my students, answered lab questions.. etc etc. I was home by 6pm and I wanted to DIE. One of the girls I work with caught me as I was going into my house to ask if I wanted to go to a party. I should mention that this is a party that EVERYONE has been talking about, but no one had actually invited me to (much like something on Thursday). I told her that I was so tired that I wanted to die and would likely be asleep by 8, but I don't think she believed me. (Everyone knows of my night-owl ways). As it was, I was passed out asleep by 9:30pm.

Although, funny lab story. Totally SCHOOLED one of my studentS on Pokemon. He was trying to claim something fuzzy looked like Kabuto and I definitely did the, "uummm except that Kabuto is based on a horseshoe crab, which is NOT fuzzy". And then one of the other guys in the lab was like, "oh man you just got OWNED". And then I remember that I am supposed to be the TEACHER. Oops.

Then

zorabet spent the weekend with me! We bought far too much nail polish (my inventory has officially hit 101 colors, my god) and got sushi and made cookies and watched lots of disney channel and it was lovely.

In fannish news, JGL was confirmed for Dark Knight Rise! YAAAAY. I am really excited now (not that I wasn't before...) and just, yay. Also, The Hobbit started production today. There were set pics. I AM BURSTING WITH GLEE AND ANTICIPATION, NOT GONNA LIE. AND THERE WILL BE TWO MOVIES AND THAT MEANS 2 MIDNIGHT PREMIERES TO GO TO AND AAAAAHHHHH. *breathes* Also, I have a ticket to the screening of Parked at the Irish Film Festival on Thursday (yay colin morgan!) and it comes with admittance to the opening night after-party, but I will be unable to partake as I will once again have to teach lab at 8am on Friday, boo.

You have about as good a night life as I do, lol. It kinda sucks when you work all day and just wanna go home and flop onto the bed and sleep.

Every time I think about The Hobbit for too long, I start to get really emotional. It's a bit of a problem. ^^;;

JGL is adorable and also a very good actor, so it will be fun to see him in Batman. I don't really have many thoughts about Anne though. I mean, I think she's cute, but we shall see. I am reminded of when I told me dad that "the girl from the Oscars is gonna be Catwoman"... you should have seen the look of disbelief on his face. xD He did not think highly of her hosting performance.

It really does suck! I am supposed to be able to go out and have fun on night when I don't need to wake up in the morning at a certain time! So sad.

lol aww I enjoyed her and James Franco. I've heard how everyone thought about his performance too but I didn't think it was too bad. At least she was trying, lol. I like her, but I'm honestly sick of Catwoman. I want a Harley Quinn! lol but that'll never happen. Maybe once upon a time when the Joker was around...:(

The Hobbit will be so epic though! I cannot wait! It's too far away though, which makes me incredibly sad. Though I guess I found my new thing to look forward to after Harry Potter. I get so sad knowing it's almost over for thet series

Same here. I have no social life outside of seeing my fiancee, lol. It's really depressing after awhile. I feel like a hermit, lol
