fiarra | Hurricane Worries

I have been sitting all morning watching the Hurricane Isabel coverage in Virginia. I'm scared. My grandparents live down in VA and they have a house at Virgina Beach that is practically oceanfront It's an old house and I'm terrified that it might not survive this. They keep showing shots of this beach house that is losing siding and it looks like a house near ours. I was practically in tears as I saw the shot of the fishing pier that has been demolished by the waves. The place is deserted and it's eerie as hell. I'm not even there and I'm scared. I don't want to go to class cuz I'll be so worried It's not even high tide yet and it's awful!!! What happens at high tide? Storm surges could even take out the concrete boardwalk and flood the hotels. They said a hotel was even in danger of losing the roof. I'm nervous for all the people. I hope the house and everyone down there is ok. I'll prob'ly write later.
