Weekend-ness...

This weekend was an odd mix of fun and not-so-fun. The fact that the first words out on my mom's mouth when I got to the car was "why did you take so long, I've been waiting. Weren't you supposed to be ready?" did not bode well for the weekend.

Friday was a blast. I went bowling with friends at the 24 hour bowling place. I left my house around 9, but we didn't actually get there till about 10 because we stopped at McDonald's so that people could eat. (not me, I ate at home) So we had a game and just generally goofed-off. I was supposed to be home at 11, but when we started our second game at 10:50, I was good and called home so my parents wouldn't wait up. I had so much fun. Well, except for the sketchy guy who tried to hit on me. I was buying ice cream from the vending machine and he's like, "let me get that one and I'll buy you another." I just said no thank you and walked away. We then went to my friend's house because she wanted pictures. It was fun and so totally worth getting back home at 1 in the morning.

Saturday was not so much fun. I was supposed to get woken up by my sister by 11 as per my mother's orders. I didn't get up at 11 though and when my mom got home to find me still in bed, she was pissed. Appaerntly, she'd set my sister on a ton of chores (ie- putting laundry in the dryer and cleaning the bathroom). So first she was pissed cuz my sister didn't finish and I didn't get up. Then she asked me what time I got home and I couldn't lie, so I told her that it was 1am. Needless to say, she was really pissed off. Great start for the day. THEN, she got mad at me in the afternoon becuase I refused to drive her and my sister to BJ's. I'm not very comfortable driving to begin with, haven't done it in 4 months and the way there requires driving on very busy streets. So she left in a funk and I sulked in my room for a good while.

I didn't do much work... again. I'm not doing any work now, as usual. I seem to have lost any and all motivation for anything. sigh... Oooooo I have pie from home. I think I'll go eat that...

bowling is definitly fun, wish i did it more here.
As far as parents, being far away at colleges has its disadvantages but being near enough for parents to bother with me is not one of them... Hope ur week goes better :)
