death by boredom...
The above subject line is what my math class this semester is. I sit in class 3 days a week and listen to the professor talk about everything and struggle not to fall asleep in my seat. And I mean, this is a class I have at 12:30, so there's no reason at all for me to be sleepy. Yet, without fail, I find myself drooping as the class goes on. sigh... i can't win.
I was so pissed off earlier today though. It was beautiful outside today, but it meant that the snow was melting everywhere and making puddles. So I was walking back from class and some jerk in his car came driving by really fast and went through a puddle, splashing me with dirty water. Needless to say, I was annoyed. Then to make things worse, the guy who was walking behind me (who didn't get wet) walks past me and says "that really sucks" and walks away. I was like, ....... urgh. Not fun.
There was a study abroad fair today... I went and picked up a bunch of paper and booklets and flyers for different places. It was defintely a bit over-whelming though because I don't really know where I want to go yet. A sememster at sea sounds like a lot of fun because you get to live and have class on a ship and you also get to visit different countries at the same time. But, you really don't get any contact with the people back home and it's also really expensive. The fee for a cabin runs at around 15,000 and I don't think that even includes tuition. *wibble* It would be perfect for me since I'm a bio major with a possible marine studies minor. But, alas.... I don't think the finances will be up to it. Oh well.... I could always go somewhere else I suppose.
Hmmm..... I think I'll stop here or I'll start to ramble and then I'll just never stop.

$15000!!!
that's a lotta money.....
I hope u get to go tho.
Do u need a nice big trench coat?
It not only keeps u dry but it wards off ppl that may otherwise splash u b/c they are scared that u may have a shotgun in there somewhere. =P
I couldn't see u as being scary tho.
Maybe that's just me tho. =D
....I'm not the only person that reads these right?
Maybe the only person that remembers to respond? =P
I'll be around..... TTYL
Re: $15000!!!
And yesh.... 15,000 is a whole heck of a lot of money that I don't have. Maybe if I looked scary in my trench coat I could use it to get the money together. (hee hee) I don't think I do scary very well though.. A pity really. ttyl
