scary stuff
Spend part of last night freaking out about Chile. It was like 4am there and my mom obvs wasn't going to try and contact anymore. So I'm sitting and reading all these reports and warnings and hoping that things are ok. I heard from my mom and brother this morning that everyone is safe and accounted for. Apparently some things have been destroyed, but nothing that can't be replaced. *sigh of relief*
I was terrified that I was going to wake up to awful awful news.
If you can, spare a thought today? The effects are going to be felt for a while with continuing aftershocks (50 aftershocks so far) and tsunami warnings ALL OVER. The Three Seas students are in Moorea and are being evacuated to higher ground. So yea... lots of stuff going on.
