I haven't made a real update since Sunday o_o;;

Um.. this week has been hella long. Lots of lab prep and homework assignments. All culminating in today.. when I woke up at 5am. We left the marine center at 6am to go up to New Hampshire for an oceanography trip on a boat. (Yes.. I heard the joke about 3829018490821 times today). It was fun but it was soooo cold. even with underarmor and like 4 layers. Ridic. I am going back to CT Saturday to get my winter jacket and heavier stuff. Next week we are going up to Maine with the classes from Tues-Fri and it's gonna be cold. *woe*

But I think things are doing well with everything. I wish I were doing more with my research. =| But I seriously don't have time. After the trip to Maine I'm really gonna buckle down.

I am bummed cuz like 2 days ago I decided I wanted to get tickets for Lady Gaga/Kanye. And then today they announced that it wad cancelled. And I'd just told my sister like last night that I was gonna do it. Bah. Apparently she is touring later next year though... so I guess we'll go to that. (I may just be hoping a little bit that Adam is going to be opening for her... like that rumor that started today)

SPEAKING OF RUMORS. My emotions have been toyed with continuously this past week. Hints of things dropped here and there. Anticipation of things that never end up happening. And it's just like FFFFUUUU~ why god why. I would be happy with like 20 seconds of the single.

Meh. I need to sleep. Have a youtue video.

I loooove shit like this. Raw keyboard and voice. And still sounding totally amazing and badass. *happy sigh*

I'm not sure exactly *where*. people keep calling it the "lubec trip" but I don't know if that refers to the location. I know it'll be up in the Quoddy Head area since we're going there for one of our field things for the class I'm TAing. :D

lol. The first time I ever heard this song was this acoustic version. Then I was like "hey...maybe I should listen to Lady Gaga then...." xDxDDDD Before then, I'd only known the Just Dance song, and that hadn't really impressed me.

I heard this song first as the CD version. But I'm totally with you on the "not impressed with Just Dance" boat. It took her other songs (and a look at her crazy music videos) to win me over.

You know what, I don't think I've ever heard Lady Gaga sing before, just seen her on Go Fug Yourself for her crazy outfits (and kind of written her off as an attention whore with no real talent), but this is really nice.

Oh, the trips must be exhausting, but it's kind of cool you don't have to sit in an office/classroom all day. Must be nice.:)

For a really long time I thought the exact same thing. I saw lots of pictures of her on ohnotheydidnt and was tired of hearing "Just Dance" on the radio every 2 minutes. Then one night I was watching her music videos randomly and came across the rest of her songs and was like, oh.. there IS something there.

And it is sooo tiring, but when I stop to look around during the process.. I just feel really lucky that I have a chance do those things.
