AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
This is the post I'm going to be making to ontd_ai in a bit. I don't wanna do it now cuz the anon post went up about half an hour ago so people will be busy there. Plus I need to test it to make sure it's not gonna break things. (so the tone might be a bit odd since it was written for posting to a public comm.
So... I went to the Manchester show. It was all sorts of epic (although stressful at a few points). But first I need to thank![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mylittlehottie for hooking me up with the amazing ticket and letting me flail and scream and generally act insane with her. Also many thanks to herquiethands + sister for be-friending me in Providence and being my patient car buddies for this show. :D
JSYK, I was sitting in pod B, row AA. The seat right at the corner closest to the front of the stage. TONS OF PICS UNDER THE CUT OMG
So I picked up the other 2 ladies in Boston at 5 and we jetted right up to NH. But then sun glare and traffic happened. Cue us sitting just outside the exit to get off the highway at 10 minutes to 7... me freaking out at the wheel becausemylittlehottie had my ticket and I didn't want her to miss any of the show on my account. Plus I have a soft spot for Michael. Her phone was broken so she had borrowed it from some girls farther down the row and I called them when we parked so she could come meet me with the ticket. (IF YOU GO HERE, THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH. ILU!) After some flailing just outside the doors and the security guards joking with me about how I was gonna be stuck outside (WHICH WAS SO NOT FUNNY), we met up and I got seated JUST AS THE LIGHTS WENT DOWN FOR THE START. My timing = win.
ANYWAY. I wasn't going to take a ton of pics and just let it sink in... except I still took over 400 pics again. Dunno how that happened.
MICHAEL
I say again, his set is too short. He gave a shoutout to his wife who was standing in the little pit area to the left of us. She was filming the whole time and it was cute, he keep looking over to smile at her.
MEGAN
I think Megan has grown on me a little bit more. I don't think I'll ever love her, but she definitely has that quirky fun vibe about her. I also looove what she wore for this last show. Her boots? ...hot. She did a lot of talking during her set too and I feel like she had a lot more fun with the audience interaction than I'd seen before (which really was part of the reason I didn't like her as much). During her set, when the guy came to take her mic away, he was wearing the awful pink dress and it was lulzy.

SCOTT
lol I can never remember what the first song he sings is. Because I'm always too busy going "omgomgomg ten thousand miles omg". Regardless, he is still awesome. And he told the silly jokes, and Aaron (he's the drummer right) came out to try and give him a high-five and it was amusing. And I actually got some pics of him standing this time she I was on the side and didn't have to battle the spotlights! His jacket sleeves were also very sparkly.
LIL
Lil definitely bring energy to the stage. I still wish she'd interact a bit more with the audience, but she makes up for a bit by just getting out there and really moving around. She got an oversized sparkly ring tied to something to dance around with during Single Ladies, which was cool. I dunno.. I have no opinion except that she totally looked right at us during one of her songs. :)
ANOOP
;_; I'm gonna miss Anoop. I really hope he manages to get something released so we can hear more of him. During his set he said something along the lines of "As soon as this is over, I'm going a plane back to North Carolina" and I was just like, nooooooo sadpanda! But he clearly has been wanting to go home. Anyway, he did awesome. Did lots of things over by our corner during the set.
MATT
Oh Matt... *sigh* SOMEONE SIGN HIM PLEASE BECAUSE I WILL CRY OTHERWISE. Georgia was just amazing. As usual. :D I somehow managed to not cry during You Found Me. It was close though. We weren't on the right side to see much during the piano parts of the set. He just really brings it all to the stage.
GROUP NUMBER
I could not believe how fast we got to this part. The girls were all smiles, I love the piano duel, Beggin was awesome. Bunch of the crew (and I guess Scott's mom?) went out to dance for the end of it. Anoop took off his jacket. Mhm... I'll just let the pics speak for themselves because its a bit fuzzy now.
INTERMISSION
Flailed a bunch, listened to some of the pod/security drama that was going on around me. etc etc.
BB HBIC
Alli came on wearing a black wig that kept falling in her face. It was silly. At some point she tried to put it on the keyboard-ist's (?) head but she missed and it fell off. xD And then she basically was badass for her whole set. She didn't do her "name the 3 boys and have everyone cheer" thing. I like the way she rolls her Rs when she says Barracuda during the song intro(possibly because I can't do it right).

DANNY
This is totally OT, but the 'Danny are you Gokey' tag here make me lol and it's the first thing I think of whenever I think of him. Ok moving on. I will always like Maria, Maria and I sang along like a total loon. I thought he was going to cry during his little speech thing and I def teared up a bit. I had issues getting pics though. His stage lighting is awful to work with.
ADAM
Everytime I get to this point in the show for my recaps... my thoughts have been reduced to one giant keysmash. Mostly because my thoughts at the time.. are also one giant keysmash. The hair was really tall (I was sad, I like when his hair looks all fluffy) and he was extra-glittery. I wasn't sure at the time about the forehead rhinestone thing, but when I saw pictures later I was glad I hadnt been imagining it. xD I dunno.. I don't even have words. Have a shit-ton of pics instead.
OH WAIT I REMEMBERED WHAT I WAS GONNA SAY
During Adam's set, Katy suddenly appeared. I'd seen the tweets that she was there, but wasn't looking. And then suddenly she's like 2 feet away from me filming Adam's set and smiling. We flailed at each other and then I took a few pics of her... and instantly felt like the biggest creeper in the world. DONT JUDGE ME T_T
Also during slow ride Allison came out with a... costume addition.
During Bowie, there was a Glambert hat. There was a rubber chicken and Adam said "oh look it's a rubber cock" before throwing it into the audience. There was a boa from over at our pod that didn't quite make it on stage. Allison ran over and threw it properly. but Adam didn't pick it up.

KRIS
What do I even say here? There was a boa on the mic stand and his little faaaaace when he looked it and then out into the audience. Just.. HIS FAAAAACE. Before I continue rambling, I took the following pic:
Anyway, I took like a GAZILLION pics of this man. I had such an amazing view from that side, got to see him on that piano bench. At one point during... one of the piano songs, he hit the mic with his mouth too hard and had to reach up to adjust it back (lol eating the mic). THE BOA DANCE. I got.. maybe one good pic of it? I was too busy lol-ing at what was happening. He flubbed some of the words in Bright Lights. I could see his face clearly and it was COVERED in the look of "oh shit ohshit what are the words, hurry up and get here chorus". Katy was sitting right near me for most of it and it was so cute seeing her sitting there grinning and watching. (oh god I AM a creeper aren't I?)
DSB
AND THEN THE LAST SONG STARTED AND I WAS TOTALLY SAD. Except then so much chaos broke loose on stage and I was just like, omgomgomg. KRIS IN THE JACKET. SILLY STRING. BOAS AND UNDERWEAR FALLING FROM THE SKY. Highlights besides the jacket... Megan either slipped or fell over on purpose, giggling and holding onto Allison the whole way. A black thong fell on Danny's head and he was like, wtf?! This happened right in front of me and I lol'ed. One of the boas landed half on me and I draped it over my shoulder. The lady behind me tried to GRAB IT OFF ME so I wrapped it around my neck several times. My boa, bitch! It's has blue green and yellow feathers! I was shaking so hard that I don't have TOO many decent pics of the last moments. I was trying really hard to get a pic of Kris in the jacket while also watching everyone else.

Then security made us clear the area so the spotlight guys could come down. Waited on the hill by the barricades, cheered at people asking "does anyone go here?" And then we all went our separate ways.
I wore the boa all the way home (and through the Burger King drive-through) and now there are feathers all over my car.
As an added aside. i totally didn't post even half of my pictures.
