The new FMA seems so awesome, and yet so ANGSTY, and the original anime was already bad (the manga, though, have a lot more quirky humor deadpanned everywhere that is so cool). Should I watch or will I end up crying so much I won't see anytime of it anyway? \=

It's pretty angsty. But it's hard for me to tell if it's *really* angsty, or if that's just me angsting at it because I know part of the plot and what is coming soon.

I haven't read the manga so I can't really compare. =X As far as I can tell, it's staying very plot-true to it... and despite my flailing, it's definitely amusing too.

I'd say you should give it a try for 1-2 episodes? It is pretty spectacular so far.

Yeah the fact that Bras Gran is in it for about 2 minutes I kinda had the same reaction as you, lol. It was just "hi Im Gran. Bye now!" *dies* lmao

OMG I HATE the scenes with Nina, they're just so horribly sad T.T I hope we go back to happy for awhile before they bring back anymore sadness on us

xD I actually re-watched after that episode and read some summaries of the last series, and remembered how it was different. It was.. strange.

I hope it's happy for a while too.. but something tells me that it's not going to work that way. *woe*
