like a thief in the night to come and grab you
I've started updating my anime blog again. Mostly it's just going to have the weekly thoughts/summary of what we're going to be watching at anime club. But I also wanna try recording other anime-related things there too. Like news I've found, other series I've been watching on my own, and what manga I've been buying and reading.

Some things of note from the past several hours. Hell Girl (Jigoku Shoujo) is being shown on the Independent Film Channel starting at 8pm tonight. I didn't realize that it would ever get on tv, but there you go. Professor Layton is getting his own anime and a manga, in addition to the movie that is already slated. I am amused. And Gurren Lagann manga has been set for release here. Which I am at least mildly interested in.
I can talk about this here now that the official announcement was made. Menewsha (avatar site I mod on) has been put up for sale. Mostly because Escalate Media is going in a different direction and hasn't been putting in the time and money that the site needs. At this point we're all just crossing our fingers that whoever buys the site will actually listen to the established team and let us teach them how to work with us... rather than coming in and just starting to order us around how they want. The reserve has been met on the auction, so it will be sold.. the question is just.. to who.
Otherwise I just continue along as usual.... mhmm..
