The Administration sux!!!
Yes, the admin sux here at dear ol' UCONN. So, they have a credit limit of 17 credits for all those in Liberal Arts and Sciences and if you want more you need to fill out a form. So, I did. The only problem is that I mis-counted and said I only needed 18 when I really needed 19. So I went to the registrar's office today to see if I could get it fixed right away. Turns out, I need to fill out the freaking form again, except this time for 19.
I fail to see the logic in this. I mean, I am obviously a good student based on my grades. Plus, this semester I am taking the equivalent of 19 credits any way. It pisses me off because I have better things to do than track down people for signatures. But that's not even the best part. So I finally take the form and leave. I decided to stop at the Liberal Arts and Sciences office to get that signature first. But when I get there they tell me that they can't sign it without my advisor's signature first. I was like.... o.O They are such dorks!! It's one lousy credit!! *fumes* So now I have to wait till tomorrow when I can see my advisor. My advisor has even e-mailed me saying that he will approve the 19, but I have to wait. ARGH!!! I hate the administration. I already had to deal with this mess at the beginning of the semester. Why do they even HAVE credit limits??? *falls over* sigh...
