it's like ham.. to the power of ten.
Iron Chef America is on. And it's battle ham and it's amusing me. T_T And it's making me hungry. Someone is making green eggs and ham.
I haven't updated in a while and now I have this backlog of things that have happened, but I'll probably be too lazy to go into all of them.
Last work week was pretty awesome because I skipped out on Wednesday. My mom drove us all up to Stowe Mt in Vermont for some afternoon skiing. We wandered around the little town and then got in a solid 4 hours. It was a lot of fun, but I am totally out of shape worse than I was before. Halfway through the afternoon both my knees were both very unhappy. Also.. my calves were in a lot of pain. I think the problem was my boots though. They fit just fine in the shop, but by the time we got to the mountain, I think my feet had expanded with the cold so I had to take off my underlayer of socks and force my foot in. Ouch to the ankles. x_x
Anyway. That Friday, Max and Aimee came down and visited. And thus started a weekend of awesome. Saturday was delicious bacon and eggs for lunch, then we took the ride down to Moodus to Justin's friend's house. We watched most of Genshiken, played Guitar Hero, ping pong... and then we all picked spots around the basement and passed out. On Sunday, Justin Max and I all drove up to almost-Vermont to go to TOKYO GAME ACTION. I'd heard about the place from Steve and Greg (y'know.. when they actually still talked to me) and was glad to finally get a chance to go. I must say though... nothing could have prepared me for the exterior. Seriously it was surrounded by like dirt roads and abandoned warehouses. xD But inside... @_@. They had DDR, Pump It Up, ITG, Beatmania, Pop'N Music, Taiko game-thing, ParaParaMix... Uwah... And oh man... Pop'N Music... i wanna play more. T_T Actually the thing I wish I HAD done was ask how the heck to play ParaPara. The owners are super friendly and with no limit on tokens (flat fee ftw)... we were free to just play. Also I played Melty Blood and it's sooo cute. <3 Little white vampire girl ftw.
Right. So we can skip last week. Nothing interesting.
Today I went to my first loli meetup!! Also the first time I actually wore anything loli outside of Halloween. It was pretty awesome. Drove up to Yankee Candle in Deerfield and poked around the store for a while. It was cool meeting everyone, but I'm mostly just glad that Justin could look up RayRay's number for me. I was late... and sooo lost. Typical. Then it was down to Northampton to wander some more. And delicious foods. @_@ Anyway, it was awesome meeting some of the CT peoples finally and hopefully I'll be able to make more of these little gatherings. *plots*
I should hear from Woods Hole something this week (or if they're late... next week). I'm trying not to think about it. When I do I start freaking out...
My feets hurt. My freaking boots need to be broken in more.
