Week's end

I'm sooo glad the week is almost over. If this week has taught me one thing.. it's that being a parent is really freaking hard and I don't want to do it. Making sure that someone else is fed.. and sleeps.. and does their homework..

Anyway, I hit some sort of limit this morning. I'd been doing the "getting up at 7am" thing ok for a while, but this morning instead of waking up enough to function, I overslept for 25 minutes. And then after she went off to school, I ended up falling asleep on the couch for 45 min.

So... basically I'm glad this week is over and I can go back to the apartment and languish all weekend on the futon.

yes making sure someone is fed and taken care of is very tough. Now you know what it's like to be me... -_-;
