ARGH (ie- awful morning)
I am... extrememly irritated.
SO I was supposed to get here early. Fine. I can do that. I had all my alarms set and everything.
And then one of them doesn't go off... the earlier one. So I jump up and start running around to get ready. Fine, I can do that. I was only going to be in like... oh.. 20 minutes later than I said I'd be.
Then there was traffic. And I wanted to hurt things.
Then I got here. And from the time I pulled into a parking spot in Lot 2.. it took me half an hour to get here. WTF man. That's how long it takes me to DRIVE here. Here's what happened.
I pull in at 9:55. I walk to the shuttle stop in time to see a shuttle turning the other direction towards the Exchange (across the street). The driver motions to me that they'll be right back. I wait 10 minutes and ponder just walking. Finally see OTHER shuttle up the street.. again turning away. I call the service to come get me. See TWO shuttles turning into the MAR Building area and think "Oh good I can get there now". Shuttle takes its sweet time to get around to Lot 3. Finally get onto shuttle. Sigh of relief. I'm now 45 min late. Shuttle turns off main road to go to Dowling North. I'm now irritated again because this means that they now need to turn up onto Farmington and loop BACK AROUND and past where I was just picked up. But THEN the guy doesn't turn back into the main drive. Instead we go up Farmington and through 2 traffic lights to go to the Talcott Notch Building where someone gets off the shuttle. Not amused. From there... FINALLY go back to the center intersection and then up to where I wanted to be. All the while I'm thinking about how I could have walked there and back about 3 times.
And then to make it worse, I walk in and Linda is there and is all annoyed at me for being late.
And I just wanna cry because the world hates me something fierce and I can't do anything about it.
edit: I forgot the best part of this ordeal. I'm here in the scope room. Trying to take important pictures. On a scope with a red laser that craps out after 5 minutes of being on. So I get to keep resetting everything. And I just had an amazing picture setup... and now I'm taking it.. but nothing is there. I'm so confused
