oh monday
It's Monday again for some reason. Fwee.
Lessee... Nothing too exciting has happened since New Years. I was at Justin's house for it and we ate a lot of food. Watched the ball drop.. stayed in.. etc. And then in usual fashion, woke up to pictures on facebook of all my friends hanging out together. Did I hear about anything? Of course not. Meh.
Last week was nice at work because it was short, but I still feel like I managed to work a full week. Let's just say it was busy and part of what I did ended up not working at all. Laaame. Currently I'm back at the vibratome, but this time with my iPod!! The battery was successfully replaced by me and I'm basking in the crazy battery life, the likes of which I haven't seen since it was new.... 4 years ago. The only thing that worries me is that the harddrive whirrs when I change songs. But I'd never bothered to listen to it perviously so I can't be sure this is actually a sign of something being wrong. *shrug* It's good for now though!
I've been watching Justin play a lot of Persona 3 lately and it always gives me the urge to draw crazy fanart with people shooting themselves in the head. (This makes total sense if you're familiar with the game) But at the same time I know that it'll never be as good as I want it to be. So I keep doodling Gaia avatars instead. xD Maybe someday I'll draw something with my tablet I'm happy with.
I've been a bad spending kitty lately and bought a bunch of Japan-clothes. I finally bought that lavendar IW jsk I'd been eyeing for ages. That's arrived at Celga warehouse, but I'm waiting until my second purchase gets there before requesting shipping. That second thing is an h.naoto luckypack. I had wanted a happy pack from them, but the shopping service fell through. So I went and bought a New Years luckypack from Yahoo!Japan. I heard good things about the packs on the hnaoto comm so I decided to finally just take the chance. It's my first luckypack and I really hope I like what's in it. I already know I like the bag it'll all come in though! xD Point one I suppose. What I really hope for is something to match my h.jelly skirt or my putumayo skirt. We're not even going to think about how I need to buy things to coordinate with the jsk.
So yes.. no more spending for a bit now.
I was going to type up a little ranty thought about online communities and my experience with them. But I think I'll save that for a different entry.
