I'm still working. Stuff goes on. I won tickets.
Perhaps I'll go with categories...
Family: My grandma left for Chile at the beginning of the week. Yea... That was about it. It was rather upsetting, but we all know she got there ok and her stuff is there too.
Work: It goes. I'm going to a bunch of conferences soon and I'm just getting swamped in more and more projects. I'm slowly starting to pick things up (important since I'm not really immunology-smart) and feeling like maybe I understand what's going on. And yea. It's work I suppose.
I signed up for the Bio GRE again and I'm slated to take it Nov. 3. It'll be... not happy fun times. But I need to do better for it so I'm planning some serious book studying to fill my gaps in general biology knowledge. Once that craziness is over I've decided to make myself keep studying things in my free time. I realized that I spend a lot of time sitting around doing a whole lot of nothing. In the past I've found that free time with no studying only makes me lazy and then unprepared for further study later. I'm thinking I'd like to pick up Japanese again. I still have my textbooks so I'm gonna try to actually retain it this time.
Things go well in the apartment as well. We moved in the things my grandma have me and it's really starting to look like the home I envisioned before we moved in. *nodnod*
So things go on. and on. and such.
But now... for bed!
