This RezWeb shift has felt like it's gone on for hours. Probably due to the fact that no one cool is here. Well, except Jenna, but she's in the shop and not in here. *sadness*. Also, my iPod ran out of battery so I can't even play music to console myself. Or at least music that I can control. I have pandora.com, which is awesome for finding music. But not so great when you wanna play a bunch of songs by one artist, or something random like anime soundtracks.
Anyway. This weekend was nice. I hung out with Phil a lot. We went to lunch on Saturday and then later he joined us for Pops n Jazz. It was kinda funny sitting there. It was first time in 2 years that I didn't have my boyfriend with me at the show. But said boyfriend was at another show an hour away. So sadness. The show was more of the usual I suppose. And good as always. That's pretty standard though.
Going back to Hall always sets off weirdness in my mind. Like... I went there 4 years ago. And now my little sister is there and all the things that were all new and such when I was there are just... iunno. They're considered older things. Like the mission statement banners that went up my senior year that everyone hated. Or the wall of respect mural, where everyone painted a square. I can still find mine on the wall. Iunno. It's just weird.
Although the same security guard is still there. That made me strangely happy.
I wonder if soon enough UCONN will feel like that to me too.... =\
Other than that, it was an okayish weekend. I did my taxes by myself which was.... fun. Especially since my dad was being snippy and unhelpful. And somehow I ended up with the conclusion that I owe no state income tax, which means I'll probably get a letter in the mail in a month saying that I fucked up and owe money. It'll be fun. *sighzors*
And now I'm just so freakin happy to be back at school. Just because it beats home most of the time. And also just cuz of the people I can see here.. and not at home. Personal life is surprisingly stable and wonderful at the moment. I guess surprisingly just cuz I didn't think it could ever get to a point where I'd just be able to be floaty happy. And before I drown everything is silly gushing... I'm gonna go.. do something... for the last 50 minutes... *whinee*
