So everything ended up working out just fine. My recommendation got emailed to Stanford after a lot of panicked emails. And my flight was rescheduled.
Sooo... I'm leaving for Virginia at 8:15 on the plane tomorrow night, and getting there at midnight. Im taking my whirlwind tour and then leaving on a plane at 8:15 again. So basically my stay lasts less than 24 hours. It kinda sucks just cuz I had wanted to see my grandmother for at least a little, but now I'm going to get like.. a little of Monday morning. Meh.
On the plus side, I got to spend pretty much all of Friday with Justin as a result. We had both been a little disgruntled because of the weather. Him cuz of the convention he was supposed to be at (yay for being able to go today anyway!) and me cuz of the screwy travelness. So.. we took a nap and watched some tv and were just generally lazy. I'm not gonna lie, it was glorious.
I think just overall... things have been awesome. Classes are going and I'm just happy. I suppose that's all that matters. ^^
