So finals start this week. I don't have any till Tuesday and it's only my English final, so of course I havent really started studying. It'll get done eventually, much like my grad school applications.

I've been listening to Sugarcult for a week and a half. As usual, my cyclic phases of music taste continue. One of the most reliable aspects of life. I will always latch onto one song/band/genre and listen to it exclusively.

It's been a trying weekend full of tears and pain. But I can only hope that things will come to something of a definition soon. At least by the end of finals. Had a 1.5 hour lunch with a close friend today, one who is uninvolved in everything. It was very helpful and I'm confident that I'm going to be able to handle whatever happens.

Until that time comes, I'm going to continue to be my usual self. It's all I can do. And when the time comes, I'm going to remember what my fortune cookie told me. "You will be happiest if you please yourself first". I've been through some tough times and more tears than I care to dwell on. By they didnt get me then.. and I'll be damned if I let them take me now.

i've loved sugarcult ever since "bouncing off the walls" became well-known.

I physically own Start Static and the Palm Trees one. I dl-ed the newest one (Lights Out) last week and have been listening non-stop.
