*frustration*

Science pisses me off sometimes... a lot of the time. Everyone has been gone this week, I've been maintaining cell cultures so that today I could run through an experiment. I started at 10:30, all was well. Then I go to count my cells. I didnt even have half the number needed to do a set of samples. HALF!! There is much annoyance right now. *sigh* So I gave up. No point to doing one sample since I'll have nothing to compare to. It's not exactly ideal, but tomorrow I think I'll be coming in early and using some of the more highly concentrated stock cultures. So much for being productive today.

In other news, have had a good week. On Monday, Jacob and I went out to lunch (he drove to uconn to surprise me) and then a long walk out to the Fenton River. I got eaten alive by the freakin mosquitos, but it was fun. Then spent Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday afternoon at his house. We went fishing on his boat and I caught a 33 inch bass!!! it was awesome.

Connecticon is this weekend. I can only go on Saturday since I'll be working tomorrow and Sunday will be down in Avery Point, but it's gonna be fun. Now I just need to finish my outfit... x_X (why must patterns be so complicated?)

oh you know... retaking stats because i did terribly the first time around... and working at the library. unfortunately i work through lunch every day (i work right after my class gets out at 10:15 until at least 2... on th & friday until 5) but if you're ever free for dinner or something, do let me know :)
