so i finally got the status update on the chemicals i'm going to need for my experiments. they need to call to ask for them... *sigh* apparently the company will give researchers the stuff for free, provided they like your research. i guess they got hit pretty hard with lawsuits when it was found that the original flame retardants they were using were showing up in breast milk and such. big issues. the catch being that they have to think that your research is worthwhile. otherwise we have to look into buying it from a company that makes radio-labeled versions. apparently it's expensive and from the sound of the conversation, they don't want to pay a lot for it. my thoughts? excuse me while i go have a small panic attack. i mean.. i thought they had everything already. eep.. we shall see.

this weekend should be fun. getting a bunch of people together and going camping from saturday to sunday. also get to see jacob again which is super-exciting.

yeah... i get the day off tomorrow. i fully intend to sleep in as much as possible. i stayed up too late last night.
