Happy Thanksgiving!!!

So I'm here in Storrs for Thanksgiving and stuff. In the basement watching Chappelle with people. Fun stuff.

Been busy this vacation being lonely and doing lots of chem work. *sighs*

But I got lots of food today. Hmm.. I don't even have a real reason to update today... Just kinda bored and lonely. I'm talking to Pat, but he seems kinda busy playing EQ2. He got accepted into a guild for the game so he has to be there and stuff for raids. It makes me kinda wonder how much I'm gonna get to see him now. I know he really likes the game and stuff but it's like, ok... hi... i'm here too...

*sigh* And I know he's gonna read this now and feel bad about it. Well... Pat if you read this, ignore it. I'm just tired and the week has been much too long....

I think I'll stop with my half-hearted entry now..

Oh! My cousin is getting better. They think it was some sort of stroke that created pressure and bleeding. I'm still worried though because they don't know the cause. I guess I just have to continue being optimistic and the like. *sigh*

I give up...

Thanksgiving, ey? Is that a religous thing, or just a... holiday of sorts? Sorry - as i'm not from America, the whole idea is a bit... well, fuzzy. Something about a turkey, right? =P

We have family friends who both work for UCONN. They live a stone's throw from South actually. So we usually go over there for any holidays since none of our family really lives here. Kinda sucks for me since I like to get *away* from school during vacation. but oh well....

How's the chem? *winces* Is it as painful for you as it is for me??

Thanksgiving isn't religious at all. Traditionally it signifies grand meal the pilgrims had with the native americans after the harvest way back when. It supposed to be a day of thanks to appreciate the world, yadda yadda... It's more evolved into an excuse to gather family and friends and eat a lot.

And yes... there is mass quantities of turkey involved. *grin*
