And thus we begin the vacation for real. The Rhode Island trip at up 2 of our days. It was fun... but now it's already monday...
Last night was nice. Tia Eliana and Tio Gaston and Hector came over. Hector is looking for a job in NYC which is cool. We hadn't seen him for a while. (a used to have a huge crush on him... *blush*) We ate dinner and all was well.
I found out last night that one of my cousins is in the hospital. They found something abnormal in her brain and they couldn't determine what it was in the hospital in Chile. So she's in California right now with my Aunt who is now on anti-depressants because of all this. They can't operate because of hemorraging (or however you spell it) so they're just going to keep running tests. They think it originated from somewhere else in her body which is way bad. I don't even know when this happened and how long I was kept in the dark for. *sigh* All I can do is keep praying to something up there to make this better. She was finishing up her med school stuff and has her life ahead of her... Sometimes I just wonder..
I talked to Pat for 100 minutes last night on the phone. It was fun. I miss him so much. I hope my parents let me visit on Wednesday like I want.... Otherwise I'll be sad. I have directions and everything...
