wow... long time no update

Yeah... I haven't updated in ages... And I come back and LJ has changed everything on me... *sweatdrop*

Anyway... it's been an eventful couple days, especially with the start of anime club and all. On Tuesday night Marianne, Tyler, Brian, Pat and I got to run around campus like kids and draw everywhere with chalk. We wanted to make sure word got out about anime club. Brain is a good artist too so it was fun. Plus, I got to be with Pat which is always fun. We seriously do hang out or see each other everyday. Anyway... we ended up making a giant pac-man trail with the dots and ghosts and cherries and everything. It was awesome. Good advertisement as well.

Wednesday was the craziest day ever. We had decided earlier in the week to go to the Chinese/Japanese place for dinner. So after classes were done, Marianne, Tyler, Brett, Pat and I all walked over there. I got sushi of course. No raw fish though... We were there until nearly 8:45 which was a problem because anime starts at 9 and as officers we needed to be there early. So we got to our room and I packed up my computer in record time. Marianne also grabbed her speakers and off we went. We were just in time too. Unfortunately... we had no idea what to watch because Marianne never was decisive enough to just choose. She wanted to vote.... *rolls eyes* If you have power, why bother with that? LOL. Of course we set everything up only to have Marianne realize she forgot the power cord in our room. *dies* Who does that??!! So thus more delay. Honestly... it sucked and if it were a class I would fail myself. Late *and* unprepared??!!! grrr...

We ended up watching Maburaho, FullMetalPanic Fumoffu, RahXpheon, and Ping Pong Club. First two good, third confusing and pointless, last awful beyond words. Seriously, I don't care what people say, I hate ping pong club. It's not even humor... I'm going to add Haibane Renmei, and switch in Scryed for the RahXpheon one. Someone had to make decisions and damnit, if I have to do it and be the evil one... so be it. I don't want to see this club dissolve. I already know that people didn't like the non-social aspect of the club. I want to remedy that because I feel bad. It wasn't such a great first meeting by any stretch of the imagination but we can improve.

Today was busy as well. After class Pat and I met Susana, Alan, Rick, Kate, Liz, Will and Nate at the Towers dining hall. I got stir fry!!! So we ate and then hung out playing video games in Kate's room. It was fun. Pat kept tickling me tho... even when I was playing the game. Very predicatbly, I lost most of the time. Then we went to watch the fencing club. I participated in some of the drills at the beginning and it was mad hard. I haven't done that stuff since 9th grade gym class. Thus I just got all sweaty. Apparently, I still look pretty all sweaty to Pat. *shrugs* Then there was much sitting around and talking and cuddling until the club meeting was over. And now I should go to bed...

*sigh* As much as I love RahXephon, I think you're right. You should switch it to S.cry.ed (no one seemed interested in RahXephon anyway...)...plus, I really want to know what happens (in Scryed), considering I own RahXephon but have only seen the first 5 episodes of Scryed...and...it's addicting...Plus, you don't have to analyze it and pay lots of attention to really small details like you have to do in RahXephon...and Scryed is funny...and it seems that everyone likes funny more than serious and thought provoking...*sigh*...Too bad we couldn't watch Pretear...then again, the guys definately would not like that...considering how much they loved Ping Pong Club...ewwww....=^>.<^=

Ooo good to know I have some support on the switching thing. Having to notice small details doesn't work on the tiny TV we have. *sweatdrop*

Hehe.. I just looked up Pretear. It looks way uber-cute, but again... too many guys in there....

Ping Pong Club is both awful and amazing at the same time. Its almost an azumanga-ish type anime. Definitely not everybody's cup of bubble tea though.

Oh, I hope its not weird if I post here out of the blue...

Scratch the amazing and you have my opinion. I haven't seen azumanga yet... I heard it was good.

And I <3 comments so feel free to comment away!!
