Why is today not over yet???
Nyaaa... After yesterday's disappointing ELISA, I went and had a fun night. Lena was having an impromptu bday celebration except that most of the people bailed out. *sighs* So we got pizza and a movie with Susana, called Heather and Phil and went to her house. We watched Mystic River. It was ok. Good acting, but the plot didn't really captivate me all that much. Sometime in there Kirsten showed up. So when the movie ended we played 6-way Chinese Checkers. By the time that was over it was like midnight. *sweatdrop* It was a very tired Carolina who woke up this morning.
OMG!! I might actually get to go to Connecticon!!! Tom called me last night and was like, "yeah I readin your LJ that you wanted to go and my people bailed on me." So now I have to figure out what's gonna happen this Saturday because the 'rents are out of town next week and I dunno when they leave. I hope I can go... *starry-eyed over 1st con experience possibility*
And now since today was just long and tiring, I'm gonna do the Right Now Meme to avoid having to make data charts till 5:45..
wearing: Khaki pants, my 'better than a boy' shirt, sneakers, black fleece zip hoodie
hair: pulled back in a ponytail with a rubber band because I forgot my hair tie this morning
makeup: none whatsoever
ate today: frosted flakes for breakfast, a turkey sandwich, sharp white cheddar cheese, a can of coke, a nectarine
thing last said: 'see you tomorrow' to Rob as he was leaving.
last phone call: Last night when my mom called me to ask where I was at 11pm
in your bag: folder, my iPod, cell phone, notebook, pens and pencils, my wallet
playing on your iPod: DDR-ified Disney music (it's way cool)

plans for today: well, today is almost over... but when I get home I'm gonna play KirbySuperstar on my comupter or watch FMA with my sister.

worst part of the day: getting up at 6am and feeling like my brain had melted
best part of the day: finally finishing everything
favorite person of the day: Sueng Joo (grad student) for buying M+M's and sharing
thinking about: when the next time I can call Joe could be and what to do about this weekend
current annoyance: the fact that I have to do another ELISA tomorrow
current obsession: umm... nothing really right now... just the usual
Well that was fun. I did a count this weekend. I have over $100 worth of manga books. o_O I must have like 70 books by now... It's madness. And if I go to Connecticon.... Good thing I have a job... Time to go stare at all the shirts I wanna buy from Hot Topic now...
