My arm hurts....

Today's conclusion: science is painful. I had to run my own ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) today. *sigh* You have to do a lot of pipetting including about a zillion washes where you have to pipet liquid into 96 well plates and then forcefully dump it out. Lots of arm usage... I'm so very sore. I had to assist in one yesterday too so it's a double ouch. Luckily I seem to have gotten good results, but I'm not quite sure what to do now. I feel stupid asking what to do because I'm supposed to be self-sufficient and all that. I feel like a little kid who's been thrust into this world that doesn't make sense and flow right quite yet. I'll live.

That's about it... My thumb hurts too much for me to type much longer so I think I'll stop. On another note... I've gained weight. Bad Carolina!!! Bad!!!!! Thus, crunches and stuff for me. And with that... off to find out how to analyze ELISA data!

(edit) now I know what I have to do tomorrow... Calculation of means and standard deviations on Excel. Eep... I'm not very familiar with Excel. I think I'm gonna have to take tonight to practice. *sigh* And then in the afternoon, PCR time again. Good stuff. I can handle that...

wow that sounds all complicated. you're very smart to even be able to spell all those words. feeling stupid is not allowed. also, weight gain not an issue, but if you are looking for something to do, i got lectured the other day on not being active so i'm gonna be making some use of my bike thats been sitting in the garage the past 2 years. would you be interested in joining? we can ride by pretty places, like the resevoir...let me know.
good luck with work, talk to you soon!

"I eat wat tastes good!"
I think it's actually named by a baseball player that was on the commercial for them or whatever but you get the drift, right?
You work too hard to not enjoy life. I hope you have fun bike riding tho. ;)

Haha... Fine. No feeling stupid. Although I didn't mean I felt stupid so much as I felt out of the loop being here. Oooooo bike riding!!! That would be awesome. I'd have to chex my bike though to be sure it's fine. Last time I rode it, it wa screwy. Anyway. I like that idea. w00t!!! Excercise!!! (or something...)

PS- Shall I reply to the 2 repeats as well? hee hee
