Adrift in a sea of memories....
Been an odd couple days for me. School is ebding for everyone and it brings back all these memories of this time last year and even stuff before that. Like Monday night was the 8th grade awards and I went because of my brother. And all the awards and stuff reminded me of middle school and when I had to go to those to get stuff. And all the people from my class who got those awards. It also reminded me of the awards at Hall and sitting there on stage. *sigh*
The Hall Graduation was yesterday and I went to watch all my little swimming peoples graduate. *double sigh* It's really been a year since I left the school. Dr. Slater is in Iraq so he wasn't at the ceremony which was really sad. I still remember him freshman year... sitting at our lunch table... He really is an amazing person. And then there are teachers who are retiring and people who graduated.... I miss those days... *sigh*
Other than that.. still biding my time till I can work. Still trying to contact Human Resources to find out the status. grr... Meh. Hung out with people till 12:20 last night. I finally solved my craving for a coke slurpee. ahh... hee hee

*The* Story of Last Night- The three of us decide to go to one of the elementary schools at 11:30 pm. We get there and there are 2 cars in the parking lot that have no people in them. Susana wants to go on the swings. To get to the swings you have to cross a lot of darkness and it's freaky. Plus I have this phobia of dark, wide open fields/spaces. So first we go to the little playground with me looking around, all paranoid and stuff. The Susana wants to go to the bigger playground which is alllll the way across a huge dark field. *shivers* It was ok in the end... but freaky.
I'm out of shape... must remedy that BEFORE we go to the beach.
