Just kinda here....
Hmm... It's been a few days since the last post... *shrug*
Had a good weekend. It was Celebrate! West Hartford weekend. Of course I went on Saturday because my brother was performing with the jazz band. ANd then it was off to wander the area with Susana and Kirsten. It was Susana's first Celebrate ever. We pretty much avoided the rides area and stayed in the food and art show areas. There was some very nice art stuff for sale and all the usual craft-y stuff. Soaps, jewelry, etc. The people who sell the "good luck fairys" were back and I bought another one. This time, a little butterfly fairy that is now hanging in my room. I also got my usual Pad Thai with garlic chicken. *droolz* good times. And then it was off to Storrs for Hector's graduation party. Eh... definitely kinda boring. I mean... lots of adults standing around drinking wine and talking. Kids in the TV room watching TV. And I'm like in the middle. Can't go watch TV without being rude... nothing to talk about with the adults. *sigh* They had bought a whole lamb and set up a spit and fire in their backyard though so that was kinda cool.
It's weird though. They live behind my school and through the trees you could see South Campus. Seeing it made me wish that I were back in school. I mean, at least I was doing something there. Oh well.
Dude!! I went to see Harry Potter on Sunday with Cristina and Josh. As a movie... it was good. As a book adaptation.... not so good. I definitely had my issues with it, but I'll not rant about it. I'll live. The acting was good though... especially for Remus. And today and yesterday I had to do safety and handling training for working with the mice. It's final that I'm going to be working in that lab here at the Health Center, starting on Friday. And my parents are most likely gonna let me use a car to drive and stuff. Good times. The last traning day is actually gonna be with us working on the mice which should be fairly interesting. In the meantime... I'm just gonna be chilling. Yay!! And with that... I'm out.
