I haven't even started Christmas shopping, but luckily I ran into a friend who said that a bunch of our mutual friends want to forego gifts this year and just have a potluck get-together instead. Considering we're all pretty much broke, I am so happy they decided to do this.

I really need to clean my room (ie go through stuff and throw out what I can). So many books and papers, I don't know where to start.
