Merlin's Beard! aka HP movie ramble
IT IS THREE AM ANDI DON'T CARE BECAUSE I JUST GOT BACK FROM THE HARRY POTTER MOVIE AND I NEED TO FLAIL BEFORE I CAN SLEEP PROPERLY!!!
First, I am happy with it. Just throwing that out there. Since I have started viewing the movies are sort-of a separate canon, the whole experience has been a lot less frustrating. Although it's still fun to compare to the source material.
There were a lot of silly awkward relationship-themed scenes that made me giggle. It made me happy to see them just being teenagers and dealing with liking someone, etc. Although I am confused because I don't remember Lavender from the pervious movies. More specifically.. I don't remember her looking like that?
The movie needed more of: Luna, Neville, ...anyone else? But mostly Luna. Because she is made of awesome. Her dress for Slughorn's party? SUPER STYLISH FOR SRS.
There was lots of Tom Felton skulking around wearing lots of black and being pale. I suppose that's par for the course. But it kept reminding me that when he was much younger I used to think he was kinda cute... and now I am confused. That scene in the bathroom though.. kinda broke me a little. Just because I think he's a very cool character.. I didn't join unredeemed.net years ago for nothing!
I didn't cry! And I didn't tear up until afterwards.. at the part when they all hold up their wands. Yea. But still not actual tears. I think I was still trying to process.
QUIDDITCH!!! JUST. YAAAAAY!!! RON WINS AT LIFE!!
Also Alan Rickman is awesome
