It boggles my mind the way grown women bond over Twilight! That actually reminds me of an evening I was spending leeching WiFi at a downtown cafe before we got internet at my apartment. There was a group of women - might have even been a book club, idk - sitting on the couches near my table, and I could overhear their conversation perfectly. And since I have BOOK RADAR, I was kind of shamelessly eavesdropping while they discussed Twilight like it was the most profound series they'd EVER READ instead of being a trite, worryingly romanticist take on a wildly unhealthy teen romance. *AHEM* Anyhow, then one of the women asked another, "Well, have you read the last Harry Potter book?" And the second woman said, with a slightly disgusted look, "Oh, no. Those are just kids books." I almost sprayed breve ALL OVER MY LAPTOP. *facepalm*

Sorry for story time! Your two ladies reminded me of this. (I kind of feel sorry for Mr. Woman #2.)
