row! row! fight the powah!
Two failed download attempts later.. I finally have a working file of Gurren Lagann episode 17. I was so happy I could cry. Especially since the attempt right before this one was a dub file....
We are going to New York tomorrow so that the three of us can get our Chilean passports. No reason.. just gonna go get them to have them. *shrug* It gets me out of work for the day. Although part of me hopes that it snows piles and piles.. rendering us unable to go. Then I can laze around the house and work on my applications.
This weekend we went to the house of my mom's coworker and helped her make like a million cookies. It was awesome. She has 2 ovens! And an old KitchenAid! *jealous a little* We brought a recipe.. and then made like 4 of hers. This was in addition to the half covered dining room table that she'd made the day before. We got a lot of cookies out of it... and some recipes. *joy* I also made another pumpkin pie today. this one to bring to the holiday party at work on Thursday. It turned out looking quite nice, which means that maybe people will actually be willing to try it. xD I was worried it would come out looking all pathetic and then no one would eat it. I fully plan on sneaking it into the room on Thursday and not claiming it at all... just in case.
Have been doing a lot of Christmas shopping over these past few days. And eagerly awaiting ski vacation despite the fact that it is going to hurt. *mutters about knees*
Have decided on making jacket based off Ed's design in FMA as first sewing machine use. Stupidly excited about the idea. Adding Nia's cutie pink hoodie from right before the timeskip as my next plain-clothes sewing project. Whee!!
