international parade of chaos
So the weekend ended up rounding out alright. I got some food in my system and convinced people to stop watching Labyrinth so I could watch the closing ceremonies of the Olympics. They were just as epic as the Opening and with a lot less people walking into the stadium slowly.
Monday at work went something along the lines of the subject of this entry. The Korean grad student has come back to the lab to stay, and we have a Chinese girl who is starting as a rotation student for the semester. Result: I'm feeling in the minority here. We have Peru, Korea, China and England represented in the lab currently. Oy.
I really just want the other tech to start so I can pass all the mouse screening onto him. I hate having to grab them for ear tagging...
Um.. yea. So that is life. I need to get my car looked at sometime soon, hopefully Thursday. So I can wave bye to some of my money. *shakes fist*
