THROUGH THE FIRE AND FLAMESSSS~!!
Oh boy... busy weekend this time around. Lessee...
Friday was the Smash Bros Tourney at UCONN, so I went up there after work for dinner and to watch. It was ok I suppose. I got to watch everyone fight their first round matches and lose.. and then we vacated to go play for actual fun up at COS. Ok well maybe that wasn't TOO busy, we would have played Shadowrun otherwise.
Saturday was the Anime Club 08th MS Team showing, but first Justin and I went to the mall. We needed to buy a kite for the meetup and I was in need of a nice cardigan to wear as well. So we dashed about for all these things and then made it up to UCONN for the viewing. We got 9 people including us, but it was good times. I also managed to get a free nalgene bottle full of soda in an inadvertant distraction. I bought a water bottle at the same time and the person at the register never put in the soda. Yay!
Today was awesome fun meetup times. Justin and I drove down a little early because he wanted to go to the hobby shop, but alas, it was closed. So off we drove to the beach. Picnic and kites and balls! Yay!! And also hopscotch and swings later. I had my camera but never bothered taking it out, so I'll have to steal any posted pictures for my own little archive. But sooo much fun!
Pity the real world has so come back though. Got an email from boss-lady saying that the slides I'd been preparing all of last week and part of the week before were crappy. Too much background on the tetramer and too much tearing in the sections. Frustrating considering that I've been doing everything she's been saying to do, but it apparently didn't work this time. Ugh.
