Carin gave me 5 interview questions so I suppose I should actually answer them.
1. Describe, in great detail, your childhood imaginary friend. If you didn't have one, describe the animated character you absolutely had to be, and why (you know, how every little girl - namely me - wanted to be Jasmine for at least a week?)
I honestly never had an imaginary friend. I was one of those kids who either had someone to play games with or I was content sitting home with a pile of books. The closest I came to having imaginary friends were my stuffed animals. I would play with them for hours, creating lives and adventures for them. I would have to say that the one animated character I really wanted to be was Jasmine when I was little. I was Jasmine for Halloween in 4th grade. She had hair kinda like mine.
2. What is the strangest thing you've ever done with your hair? Also, what is the strangest thing you've ever considered doing to you your hair?
I don't do strange things with my hair. I've never dyed it, I tend to not cut it since I'm growing it out to donate it. From preschool to 4th grade I wore my hair in 2 high pigtails on either side of my head EVERYDAY. In 4th grade I decided I didn't like it anymore. I'm sure some of the weird styles have been a result of tacky day or 80's day for high school swim team.
3. Give us a list of the people who picked on you in middle school, and what they are doing these days. If nobody picked on you, you're extremely rare, but instead give us a list of your middle school friends, and what they're up to nowadays.
In 8th grade there was this girl who used to make fun of me for my sneakers. There were an old pair of Nike's. I've never cared much for fashion so it never occured to me that they looked silly. I dont even remember her name now.
There was also a guy who used to steal things from me and throw things at me in class and such. It was more teasing and flirting that anything, but it still irritated me. I still have the lock that I stole from him in my room at home. His name was Dan and he goes to Northeastern.
4. Look up and list the exact (and, barring that, approximate) latitude and longitude of your favorite spot on earth, then describe it for us.
N37 49.10, W122 28.52 - The Golden Gate Bridge. We used to go to San Fransisco when I was younger and one of my most vivid memories (besides the one where we stood and waited for a trolly and watched a guy juggle fire) was walking across the bridge, me holding tight to me dolphin plushie for fear of dropping it into the ocean. I've always wanted to go ever since we moved to CT. There's just something about the smell of the ocean and the wind....
5. You've been chosen by a wildly enthusiastic agent to star in the next big film. What existing skills do you have that would be useful in Hollywood?
Lessee... I'm not sure there's many skills I have that would be useful for a movie mostly because a lot of what I can do isn't useful. I bake some damn good cookies... I suppose that might be useful somehow. I'm good at memorizing stuff. I'm also good at acting silly and innocent and clueless... lol no acting required for that.
And then I found this meme online somewhere, so I might as well do it and kill some time.

Tomorrow is the makeup anime meeting. Ought to be interesting. Went and signed papers for this year at the funding office. We got the funding for the first month of next year. Things are looking up.
Oh yeah, I also officially got a position in Sylvain DeGuise's lab for the summer. Gonna start the 15th and go for the summer. I get to play with oysters. And human blood. And flame retardant chemicals. fun fun. I'll be living at home and driving up most days, except when I get lazy and stay with Rachel since she's here working for RezWeb. Yup yup.
Maybe I'll try to do the work I wanted to start 2 hours ago....
